Short Itinerary
Mumbai to Delhi
Passengers traveling from Mumbai, Surat, or Vadodara will arrive in Delhi by afternoon. Please note that they will have to arrange and cover the cost of the bus from Delhi to Haridwar, as this expense will not be covered by Hikerwolf.
Day – 1 Meet at Haridwar | Journey from Haridwar to Auli
Meet at Haridwar at 6:00 am and move towards Joshimath, reach in the evening, and freshen up, the evening will be for exploring
- Joshimath temple.
- Joshimath market.
- Vishnuprayag. (If time permits)
Day – 2 Joshimath - Auli
Kickstarting our day and moving out to our next location where we will be visiting & having some action
- Bhavishya Kedar temple.
Now heading Towards Auli/Joshimath to stay at Auli/Joshimath before calling it a day.
Day – 3 Joshimath - Chopta
Say goodbye to Joshimath to reach Chopta in the early evening and post some rest we'll catch nearby sightseeing & visit
- Sangam of the river at Rudraprayag. (on the way)
- Chopta village.
The night will be for some games, gaana & Gupshup.
Day – 4 Chopta -Tungnath & Chandrashila - Chopta | Trekking, Camping
Moving out in the morning we take off towards the Chandrashila trek stroll up into the hills here & explore
- Tungnath temple (Highest shiva temple)
- Chandrashila peak.
- Rich Chopta hills.
We will descend towards Chopta and overnight stay in the swiss camp.
Day – 5 Chopta – Haridwar | Trip ends in the evening
With lots of memories & a whole new bunch of friends, we come back home smiling.

Trip Highlights
Skiing
The Picture-perfect town of Auli is India's premier skiing destination. In winter, Auli hosts several snow adventure events. The month of November heralds the beginning of the skiing season, which bears witness to the commencement of several ski festivals, along with the National Skiing Championships. Chopta
Popularly referred to as the "mini Switzerland" of Uttarakhand, Chopta is a slice of paradise tucked away in the Garhwal Himalayas. Surrounded by velvety meadows and pristine snow-capped peaks, Chopta is an all-year holiday destination: Summers are pleasant, monsoons are refreshing, and winters are a snow-covered fairyland.
Joshimath
Joshimath, also known as Jyotirmath, is the winter seat of Lord Badri, and thus is reckoned to be a sacred place in Uttarakhand. Joshimath is also the hub of activities such as mountain climbing, trekking, and other exciting happenings for people who like the pump of adrenaline.
Chandrashila
A small trek to Chandrashila, with mesmerising summit views of Kedar, Chaukhamba, and the Himalayas, is best for beginners. A visit to the holy Tungnath comes en route. When here, you can also indulge in bird-watching activities and lakeside picnics.
Tungnath
Tungnath Temple is a heavenly abode that translates to “God of the Mountain Before. Set amidst the most beautiful backdrop, it is not only the highest temple of Lord Shiva but also the highest of the Panch Kedar temples.
