Almaty:
The largest city in Kazakhstan, Almaty is known for its modern amenities, cultural attractions, and surrounding mountains. Must-visit places include Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, Medeu Ice Skating Rink, Shymbulak Ski Resort, and Kok-Tobe Hill.

Charyn Canyon:
Often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of Kazakhstan,” Charyn Canyon is known for its unique rock formations and stunning landscapes. The Charyn River adds to the picturesque setting, and it’s a popular spot for hiking and photography.

Shymbulak:
This is a famous ski resort located just outside Almaty, Kazakhstan, in the Tien Shan Mountains. Almaty Lake:

Day
01

Arrival in Almaty | Arbat Walking Street.

Upon arrival at Almaty International Airport at approximately 10:00 AM, complete immigration and baggage collection procedures. Our Trikon Tour Buddy will welcome you at the arrival terminal and assist with your transfer to the hotel.

Standard hotel check-in is at 2:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you may store your luggage at the hotel and freshen up in the common areas, subject to room availability for early check-in.

After checking in and taking some time to relax, the rest of the day is free for leisure. In the evening, head out to explore Arbat Walking Street, a historic pedestrian zone famous for its lively vibe, street art, and local charm.

Enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant, followed by an overnight stay in Almaty.

02

Almaty City Tour & Koktobe.

After breakfast, set out on a guided city tour of Almaty, covering major attractions such as Panfilov Park and the iconic Zenkov Cathedral, a remarkable wooden structure built without using nails. Continue to the vibrant Green Bazaar, where you can experience local flavors and shop for traditional products. Stop by the Rakhat Chocolate Factory Shop for a sweet treat.

Lunch will be at an Indian restaurant (at your own expense). Later in the day, visit Koktobe Hill to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscapes.

End the day with dinner at an Indian restaurant, followed by an overnight stay in Almaty.

03

Charyn Canyon | Kolsai Lake | Kaindy Lake.

After an early breakfast, depart for a picturesque day excursion. Begin with a visit to Charyn Canyon, renowned for its striking rock formations and breathtaking natural scenery. Continue onward to the beautiful Kolsai Lake, nestled amid lush forests and towering mountains.

Enjoy lunch near Kolsai Lake at your own expense. Later, proceed to the enchanting Kaindy Lake, well known for its unique submerged forest and crystal-clear waters.

Return to Almaty by evening, followed by dinner at an Indian restaurant. Enjoy an overnight stay in Almaty.

04

Almarasan Gorge | Ayusai Waterfall | Issyk Lake.

After breakfast, set off for a refreshing excursion to Almarasan Gorge, followed by a visit to the scenic Ayusai Waterfall (entrance included). Take in the natural beauty and serene surroundings during the visit.

Enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant or opt for a packed meal, at your own expense. Later in the day, continue to the stunning Issyk Lake, admired for its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking alpine landscapes.

Return to the hotel in the evening. End the day with dinner at an Indian restaurant, followed by an overnight stay in Almaty.

05

Shymbulak | Departure.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Shymbulak Ski Resort, the largest and most popular ski destination in Central Asia. Take time to soak in the scenic mountain views and the vibrant atmosphere of the resort.

Enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant before continuing your journey. Later, transfer to Almaty International Airport for your onward flight, carrying back wonderful and unforgettable memories of Kazakhstan.
