HikerWolf’s Warli Camping is an exceptional camp designed to provide you with the authentic experience of Maharashtra’s old age Warli culture. You get to experience “Warli” in not only reel but also real life. “Less is More”; every little concept of the Warli tribe speaks a thousand story. We have carefully planned the trip down to the last moment for you to enjoy to the maximum.

Itinerary

Day
01

HikerWolf Warli Camping

At 4.30 pm: We reach the campsite and settle in the tents; tents are on dual sharing basis. Freshen up with delicious Maharashtrian snacks and an appetizing welcome drink. Know your trip-mates with our unique ice-breaking games; capture the orange hue of the sunset and dive into the swimming pool.

Once you are all dwelled into the traditional ambience engage yourself into the Warli tribe’s infamous “Popati” aka barbeque made in a pot. Savour the live folk dance known as “Tharpa” performed by the tribal artists; accompany them to their dance and harmony. Engulf yourself into the scenery, gaze upon the golden farm (and the scarecrows). Learn the old but quite effective methods of farming, healing etc. from the locals.

We know that your stomach will be querying for delicious food with all those activities, don’t worry we got that part covered too. Enjoy yourself with some delectable food, before heading on to the Bullock cart ride. Prepare yourself for not only an enticing ride but also stargazing; witness the sky and constellations in the very heart of Maharashtra. We also have special arrangements for live music. Listen to the harmonious tune of the guitarist and enjoy the aura of the night.

It’s a long way to morning; show off your skills, listen to ghost stories, sing a song, and vibe to the dance. Whatever you choose be assured that you’ll be engaged in the serenity and enjoy the liveliness in it.

HikerWolf Warli Camping

At 7 am: Refresh yourself with hot tea and get ready for another exciting day.

A camp to Warli and no glimpse of the world-famous Warli painting, wouldn’t that be unfair? We move ahead to look at the Warli painting. You get a chance to observe and learn from locals about the painting. You can also try your hands at the Warli paintings. Don’t forget to capture enough candid moments.

Learn from the locals: A closer look at the Warli paintings will tell you that it is more than it meets the eye. It is not only painting but a style of their livelihood. Many designers and décor groups use these intricate patterns in their designs. They are simple yet beautiful; our talented tour guide will surely enrich your thoughts and knowledge in regards to the paintings.

We play fun games and small activities before we end the day. The trip is finally to an end; with good memories, newly gained friends and knowledge and lots of fun we finally leave the camp. Hope you enjoyed it.
