There are two ways in which you can reach the HikerWolf Pawna lake camping Site from Mumbai, they are as follows:

Option 1:  People joining from Mumbai can take a pre-decided local train to Khopoli and get down at Khopoli station. All the travelers will meet at Khopoli station and take local SUV cars (Provided by HikerWolf) to reach the Pawna lake camping site.   

Option 2: You can also use your private vehicle to reach the HikerWolf Pawna lake camping site. We will be providing you with the exact location in the Whatsapp group which will be created for coordination one day before the event. Parking facilities are available at Pawna lake.

The best time to go for Pawna lake camping is from October to February as the climate is pleasant during the daytime and becomes chilled during the night which is perfect for camping. In summer the climate is hot but after the sunset temperature goes down and in the night you get the best view of the stars in the sky. It is very romantic and calming there during the monsoon. Yes, you can drink alcohol at the Pawna Lake Camping site only at night. You have to bring your booze, we don’t sell any hard drinks at our campsite nor is there anyone who can bring the drinks for you. Also, make sure that you are consuming a limited quantity of drink for your safety. Avoid going near the lake when you are drunk. Smokers can smoke but you have to make sure that you don’t make others uncomfortable.

Note – If anyone misbehaves and creates any nuisance after getting drunk, that person will be asked to leave the campsite at the very moment and no refund will be provided.

Pavana dam is located on the Pavana river in Maval taluka. It is approximately 40 km away from the borders of Pimpri Chinchwad city. You can reach the Pawna dam by vehicle or even public transport. It is easily accessible from Pune and Mumbai.  It is approximately 120 km away from Mumbai and approximately 55 km away from Pune

Yes, you can go to Pawna Lake camping in summer. Pawna lake is filled with water throughout the year. During summer the weather will be a little hot but the surrounding scenes never fail to surprise us. At night the climate cool’s down and the sky is filled with stars.

During the monsoon season, the Pawna Lake temperature is pleasant. In the daytime, it is averaging at about 24-degree Celsius. The nights turn cooler as the temperatures drop to around 20-degree Celsius and lower.
