Rann of Kutch Tour Packages from Bangalore

3 Days 3 Nights

Overview

If you are looking for a travel destination when you live in Bangalore and would like a visit that is completely different than city life, then the Rann of Kutch is a great option. This famous white desert located in Gujarat is one of the most unique places in India.

It looks like an endless spread of white salt that shines in the sun during the day and glows under the moon at night. When you choose to go with Hikerwolf's Rann of Kutch tour packages from Bangalore, you can experience this unique place without the hassle of planning or making arrangements!

The best time to visit is during the Rann Utsav, the large cultural festival that takes place every year. It is as if the entire desert becomes alive with music, dance, colorful clothing, camel rides in the dim desert evening light, tasting local food, and purchasing handmade crafts. Walking on the salt desert at sunset is a magical time, but being there under moonlight feels as if you stepped into another world.

Your trip from Bangalore is all going to be smooth and organized, you will see all of the famous places and some hidden gems once you reach Gujarat. The main attraction, of course, is the White Desert, but you'll also visit the highest point in Kutch - Kala Dungar, which overlooks the desert as far as the eye can see.

You'll visit small villages to engage with friendly local artisans creating beautiful handmade handicrafts, embroidery, and pottery. It is so special seeing their work and hearing their stories. You can take home souvenirs directly from them to carry a piece of Kutch's culture with you.

The evenings in the Rann are like no other. Just imagine - sitting under a sky filled with stars, listening to some folk music, and feeling the cool desert air. If photography is your thing, you will love this trip, from colourful costumes and performers to the endless views of white salt flats, you will capture beauty once, and if not, you will love everything.

Hikerwolf has all your travel, stay, permits, and sightseeing covered, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy. It does not matter if you are traveling with a group of friends, with family, or on your own - you will have memories to look back fondly on for a lifetime.

What is the best time to visit Rann Utsav ?

The optimal time to visit the Rann of Kutch is during the vibrant Rann Utsav Festival, running from November 01, 2023 to February 2024. During these months, the temperature ranges from 22 to 10 degrees Celsius, ensuring comfortable sightseeing. Bhuj city hosts the nearest railway station and airport, with a distance of approximately 86.6 kilometers to the white desert. This journey takes about 1 hour and 23 minutes by road. It's noteworthy that from March to October, the entire Rann of Kutch is submerged in salty water, rendering the white salt flats invisible. Hence, visiting during this period is not recommended as there won't be much to see beyond the sea.

Is Rann Utsav at Rann of Kutch Tour safe for solo participants?

Absolutely, it's both safe and comfortable. In fact, around 40% of our participants usually join solo and seamlessly integrate with our leaders and the rest of the group.

Can we make partial payment or pay in installment for Rann Utsav at Rann of Kutch?

If you book 60 days in advance, you have the option for a partial payment. However, the balance payment must be settled at least 10 days before the event date and time.
