Journey, Camping & Stargazing

11:42 AM – Board the local train from CSMT to Kasara. Participants are requested to board the train on time.

2:00 PM – Arrive at Kasara Station and meet the trip leader. Transfer to Samrad Village by jeep.

5:00 PM – Reach the base village (Samrad) and check in to the campsite.

Welcome Drink – Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink on arrival.

Evening Snacks & Activities – Freshen up, relax, and enjoy tea with snacks, along with fun games and group activities.

7:30 PM – First Stargazing Session
Introduction to astronomy and observation of bright celestial objects using a telescope and naked-eye sky mapping.

9:00 PM – Dinner
Enjoy an unlimited dinner at the campsite.

10:00 PM – Second Stargazing Session
Explore deeper sky objects, constellations, and learn basic astrophotography techniques.

12:00 AM – Bonfire & Jamming Session
Relax around a bonfire with music and group interaction under the beautiful night sky. ✨

Milky Way Observation & Valley Exploration

4:00 AM – Milky Way Observation Session
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking Milky Way Galaxy core along with several deep-sky objects through the telescope.

Morning – Sandhan Valley Exploration / Hike
Enjoy a short exploration hike in the famous Sandhan Valley, known for its towering canyon walls and unique geological formations.

12:00 PM – Lunch
Enjoy lunch at the campsite.

After Lunch – Departure
Begin the return journey towards Mumbai, carrying unforgettable memories of the adventure.

Stargazing Experience
This trip includes guided stargazing sessions led by a professional astronomer, where participants will learn about constellations, planets, galaxies, and nebulae.
You will observe celestial objects through a professional telescope and also learn how to identify constellations using the naked eye.
