🛕 Grishneshwar JyotirlingaThe Last Jyotirlinga

Located near the famous Ellora Caves in Aurangabad, Grishneshwar is the 12th and final Jyotirlinga in India. The temple showcases stunning Hemadpanthi-style architecture and holds deep spiritual significance. It’s believed to be a powerful site for blessings of marital harmony and family well-being. Legend says it was restored by a devoted woman named Grusha, from whom it gets its name. The temple is serene and less crowded, offering a calm darshan experience.

🛕 Trimbakeshwar JyotirlingaThe Source of Godavari

Situated in Trimbak near Nashik, Trimbakeshwar is a unique Jyotirlinga where the Shiva Linga has three faces, symbolizing Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—a rare sight in India. This temple is also the origin point of the sacred Godavari River. It’s considered highly auspicious for rituals like Narayan Nagbali and Kalsarp Dosh Shanti. Surrounded by the scenic Brahmagiri Hills, the temple is a peaceful blend of devotion and natural beauty.

🛕 Bhimashankar JyotirlingaShiva in the Wilderness

Nestled deep in the Sahyadri hills near Pune, Bhimashankar is one of the most picturesque Jyotirlingas in Maharashtra. The temple is not only a sacred Shiva shrine but also part of the Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary, making it a spiritual and nature-filled experience. According to legend, Lord Shiva defeated the demon Tripurasura here. The temple’s misty surroundings, dense forests, and peaceful aura make Bhimashankar an unforgettable stop on the Jyotirlinga trail.
