BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1: Mumbai Central to Mathura Wed – 12th Mar
You’ll be boarding the Golden Temple EXP(12903) from Mumbai Central at 06:45 PM. Only for someone who has opted for train tickets from Mumbai.
Day 2: Mathura sightseeing and Holika Dahan – Thurs – 13th Mar
Arrive in Mathura around 12:30 PM and proceed to check in at your hotel. Take some time to freshen up and enjoy a relaxing lunch between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Post lunch, begin your exploration with a visit to Shri Krishna Janmasthan (Janam Bhumi Temple) and Shri Dwarkadhish Temple (if time permits), two of Mathura’s most revered and iconic sites.
In the evening, head to Vishram Ghat on the banks of the Yamuna River to witness the serene and soulful evening Aarti at 7:00 PM. The chants and vibrant energy at the ghat offer a truly magical experience. Following the Aarti, join the locals in celebrating Holika Dahan, a festive event symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
End your day by soaking in the spiritual vibes and festive charm of Mathura before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Holi Celebration at Vrindavan – Fri- 14th Mar
- After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we’ll kick off the day by diving into the vibrant Holi celebrations at the nearby lanes of the Banke Bihari Temple. The atmosphere will be filled with colors, music, and joyous festivities, offering a true taste of the local spirit. After a few hours of revelry, we’ll return to the hotel to freshen up and relax. The evening will be dedicated to exploring the spiritual sites of Vrindavan. First, we’ll visit the peaceful ISKCON Temple, known for its serene ambiance. we’ll conclude our tour with a visit to the stunning Prem Mandir, where the temple’s captivating lights create a magical atmosphere. After a day filled with joy and spirituality, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner and a restful evening.
Day 4: Agra sightseeing Sat – 15th March
- On the final day of the tour, we will leave early in the morning for Agra, where our first stop will be the magnificent Taj Mahal. Take in the beauty and grandeur of this iconic monument, a symbol of love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. If time permits, we will also visit the Agra Fort, a stunning example of Mughal architecture that tells the story of India’s rich history. After exploring these historical gems, we will break for lunch. Post-lunch, we will head towards the Agra Railway Station to 18:50 PM and board the BE LTT EXP (14314) train back to Mumbai (LTT) at around 16:50 PM, bringing an end to an unforgettable trip.

IRCTC Rules:
- HikerWolf provides its train tickets through the IRCTC app.
- The tickets confirmation depends on the number of days left until the trip.
- While it’s important to understand that there is no 100% confirmation guarantee for waitlisted and RAC tickets on every occasion, please be aware that HikerWolf does not have control over the confirmation process for tickets.
- It’s important to acknowledge that there’s always a possibility of receiving an RAC (half seat) or a waitlisted ticket instead of a confirmed seat. Please note that HikerWolf is not accountable for unconfirmed tickets, as IRCTC is a government entity over which we have no control.
- If the train is canceled or its route is changed for any reason, HikerWolf will not assume responsibility, and alternative solutions will be offered at an additional cost.
- To enhance your chances of securing a full seat on the train, it’s highly advisable to book your trip well in advance, preferably at least 20 days prior to your travel date.
- HikerWolf cannot be held responsible for changes in your travel plans, and therefore, if you choose not to take the same train we originally booked for your return journey, there will be no refunds\change for ticket dates or prices.
