Short Itinerary

Day 1 : Transfer to Gabala from Airport (overnight)

Upon arrival at GYD Airport, you'll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Gabala. The 3.5-hour scenic drive from Baku to Gabala (217 km) includes stops at Nohur Lake, Seven Waterfalls, and Tufandag for breathtaking views or skiing. Enjoy activities at Gabalaland before an overnight stay in Gabala.

Day 2 : Shaki from Gabala (overnight)

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Sheki from Gabala. In Sheki, enjoy local cuisine at authentic restaurants and explore the city on a 3-hour guided walking tour, visiting landmarks like the Palace of Sheki Khans, Caravanserai, an old Albanian temple, and sweet houses famous for their "halva." Later, visit Kish village and the Albanian church.

Day 3 : Back to Baku + Gobustan

After breakfast at the hotel, the tour will begin with a visit to Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve, located 40 miles southwest of Baku. This UNESCO site boasts over 6,000 ancient rock carvings, dating back 5,000 to 20,000 years, depicting various aspects of prehistoric life. The tour also includes a visit to the Gobustan Museum. Azerbaijan, home to 350 of the world's 700 mud volcanoes, offers a unique experience to explore these natural wonders, accessible by Lada taxis.

Day 4 : Shahdag Tour

After breakfast, you'll embark on a 210 km journey from Baku to Shahdag Mountain Resort in Gusar, passing notable sights like the Caspian Sea, BeshBarmaq Mountain, and the Red Village. The resort, named after the towering Shahdag peak in the Greater Caucasus, offers exceptional skiing, winter sports, and year-round adventure activities.

Day 5 : Baku Night

During your visit to Highland Park, you'll enjoy a panoramic view of Baku, including the Flame Towers, Caspian Sea, and Baku Boulevard. You'll also explore Martyrs' Lane and end the tour at Nizami Street, also known as Fountains Square. Overnight in Baku.

Day 6 : Absheron Tour

After breakfast, the tour begins with a visit to the Flame Temple, a former Zoroastrian pilgrimage site now a museum. Next, explore Fire Mountain, where natural gas flames continuously blaze on a hillside. The final stop is the iconic Heydar Aliyev Center, renowned for its flowing, curved architecture designed by Zaha Hadid.

Day 7: Baku City + Transfer

After breakfast, start the Baku City Tour with a visit to the Old City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its historical sites and traditional markets. Continue to Baku Boulevard, a scenic promenade along the Caspian Sea with attractions like the Ferris wheel and Little Venice. Conclude with a transfer to the airport.
