Jawai – The Cheeta Safari

4 Days 3 Nights

Overview

Jawai (Leopard Country)
Located in southern Rajasthan, Jawai is renowned for its wild leopards that roam freely across dramatic granite hills. What makes this place unique is that it is not a fenced wildlife reserve—leopards and the local Rabari shepherd community live in peaceful coexistence. The scenic Jawai Dam further enhances the landscape, attracting migratory birds and even crocodiles. The region offers a rare blend of untamed wilderness and authentic rural culture.

Kumbhalgarh Fort
A proud UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kumbhalgarh Fort is among the most magnificent forts in Rajasthan and the birthplace of Maharana Pratap. Its massive defensive wall stretches about 36 km, making it the second-longest continuous wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. Set high in the Aravalli hills, the fort complex features grand palaces, ancient temples, and breathtaking panoramic views. The nearby Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary adds an adventurous wildlife experience to the visit.

Ranakpur Jain Temple
Dating back to the 15th century, Ranakpur’s magnificent marble Chaturmukha Jain Temple is a masterpiece of architecture and devotion. The temple is famous for its 1,444 intricately carved marble pillars—each uniquely designed. Surrounded by the peaceful valleys of the Aravalli hills, it stands as one of India’s largest and most beautiful Jain temples, admired for its detailed craftsmanship and tranquil spiritual atmosphere.
