ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival at Cochin | Athirapally Waterfalls | Munnar

Pick-up timings from Cochin Railway Station – Around 11.00 AM

Pick-up timings from Cochin International Airport – Around 12.00 PM

We pick you up from the respective pickup points & Meet and get our fellow travellers. Have breakfast on the way & leave for Munnar. En route, visit visit to the magnificent and famous Athirapally waterfalls ( famously known as Bahubali waterfalls )  Reach Munnar by late evening. Overnight stay at Munnar.

 Day 2: Munnar Local Sightseeing & Other Activities

Post breakfast, we will go for Munnar local sightseeing. We start with the Eravikulam National Park to spot some rare wildlife species like the nilgiri thar. Also a place where you can spot the beautiful plants of neelkurunji which are known to bloom once in 12 years.

Post lunch, visit the nearby Mattupetty Dam. Thereafter, enjoy the LakeSide boating and the beauty of the Flower Nursery, and Scenic ride to Thekkady and visit to periyar river drive straight to the Top Station to enjoy the breath-taking view of the mountains from the top. Return to Munnar, Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3: Drive to Thekkady | via Elephant Junction | Periyar River Boating | Forest Drive

Munnar to Thekkady Distance – 90 Km (approx. 3 hours)

After enjoying our breakfast we head towards Thekkady. En-route visit the Elephant Junction (Optional). Spend a good time (1-hour approx.) on activities like Elephant safari, Timber Dragging, Elephant Feeding & Photo sessions. 

Reach Thekkady by afternoon and check into the hotel. Relax and freshen up and then head to the Kalarippayattu Show at 5 pm (Optional). Head to the Periyar River via roads that are covered with forests on all sides. Enjoy water activities such as boating. return to the hotel/resort for dinner, and overnight stay at Thekkady. 

Day 4: Drive to Alleppey / Kumarakom

Thekkady to Alleppey Distance – 138 Km (4 hours approx.)

Post breakfast we leave for Alleppey at around 7.30 am. En route, enjoy the view of the scenic landscapes & beautiful viewpoints. Reach Alleppey and Experience the beauty of Alleppey backwaters get freshen up, have lunch & leave for the canoeing activity in Vembanad Lake ( optional). Later on, head back to our stay and have a delicious dinner. Stay overnight in Alleppey / Kumarakom. 

Day 5: Return to Cochin | Head Home With Happy Memories

Alleppey to Cochin DIstance – 53 Km (1.5 hours)

After having one last breakfast with us, head back to Cochin, and en route, visit Cherai Beach (Optional). Drop time shall be around 2 pm. Head home with lots of happy memories!
