Itinerary
You’ll be boarding the Golden Temple train (12903) from Bandra terminus at 18:30. It will make stops at Surat at 21:57 and Vadodara at 23:20 Only for someone has opted for train tickets from Mumbai, Surat, and Vadodara.
Arrive in Delhi around 2:00 PM and spend the rest of the day exploring the city. Later in the evening, begin an overnight journey towards Sonprayag / Guptkashi / Sirsi, reaching the destination the next morning. The evening is reserved for relaxation. Overnight stay will be at Sonprayag / Guptkashi / Sirsi.

Early in the morning, we proceed for the most awaited visit to Kedarnath Ji and the sacred Kedar Temple. Begin the 19 km trek to Kedarnath, offering breathtaking landscapes and a truly unforgettable on-foot experience. Upon arrival, attend the serene evening Aarti and spend time exploring the divine surroundings of Kedarnath Temple, with some leisure time for local shopping.

Wake up early at around 2:00 AM for the optional Abhishek of the sacred Jyotirling at Kedarnath Ji. Begin your day with a divine sunrise darshan, soaking in the peaceful and spiritual ambiance of the temple. After breakfast, start the trek down to Gaurikund, followed by a drive to Sonprayag / Guptkashi / Sirsi.
Dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi / Sirsi / Sonprayag.

After an early breakfast, we head towards Chopta, famously known as the “Mini Switzerland” of India. Those who wish can opt for the trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple, and further continue to Chandrashila Peak for stunning panoramic views (optional). Guests who prefer not to trek can relax at the campsite or explore the base village.
Trekkers will return to the base village by late evening. Overnight stay in Chopta.

After breakfast, we drive towards Rishikesh. En route, we visit the sacred confluences—Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet, and Rudraprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini.
If time permits, we will attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat and explore local attractions like Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula (local auto expenses to be borne by the guest). The evening is free for leisure and shopping.

Start your day early at 6:00 AM with an exciting river rafting experience in Rishikesh. After an adventurous morning, return for breakfast and proceed to check out from the hotel. Later, depart on an overnight journey to Delhi to catch your early morning train to Mumbai.

Board the early morning train 12904 – Golden Temple Express from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, Delhi at around 03:45 AM.
Meals: No meals will be provided on the train.
Enjoy your return train journey as you head back to Mumbai, arriving at approximately 22:55 hrs, carrying unforgettable memories from the trip.

Please note that we will try to complete your registration for the Kedarnath Yatra through the official online portal. However, if you have booked your trip less than 45 days before the departure date, timely online registration may not be possible. Additionally, there may be instances where the website is down or loading slowly due to heavy traffic, or registrations are temporarily closed because of a high volume of pilgrims. In such cases, we will proceed with offline registration during the trip. Therefore, it is essential that you carry a valid Aadhaar card with you for verification purposes.
IRCTC Rules
- HikerWolf provides its train tickets through the IRCTC app.
- The tickets confirmation depends on the number of days left until the trip.
- While it’s important to understand that there is no 100% confirmation guarantee for waitlisted and RAC tickets on every occasion, please be aware that HikerWolf does not have control over the confirmation process for tickets.
- It’s important to acknowledge that there’s always a possibility of receiving an RAC (half seat) or a waitlisted ticket instead of a confirmed seat. Please note that HikerWolf is not accountable for unconfirmed tickets, as IRCTC is a government entity over which we have no control.
- If the train is canceled or its route is changed for any reason, HikerWolf will not assume responsibility, and alternative solutions will be offered at an additional cost.
- To enhance your chances of securing a full seat on the train, it’s highly advisable to book your trip well in advance, preferably at least 20 days prior to your travel date.
- HikerWolf cannot be held responsible for changes in your travel plans, and therefore, if you choose not to take the same train we originally booked for your return journey, there will be no refundschange for ticket dates or prices.
