ITINERARY

Day 01 : Mumbai to Mangalore

Meet your HikerWolf buddies at CSTM Station at 09.00 pm to board 12133 /  Mangalore Express. Overnight train journey.

(For 3rd November batch we will start with 12619 Matsyagandha Express) –

LTT – 3:15 PM

Thane – 3:40 PM

Panvel – 4:20 PM

Day 02 :  Mangalore to Coorg

Arrive at Mangalore Railway station by afternoon. Have lunch. 

(3rd nov Batch will reach by Morning and Post breakfast (at own cost) will move towards Coorg)

Post lunch we will move towards Coorg. 

Check-in Hotel. 

Visit Bylakuppe – the largest Tibetan settlement in South India. The temple has 62 feet Buddha statues covered with gold plates is a wonderful sight anytime.

Dinner and overnight stay.

( Meal : Only Dinner )

Day 03 : Coorg | Sightseeing | Harangi Elephant Camp

Have early breakfast and proceed to Harangi Elephant Camp and Dam for the experience with Elephants

Later visit Cauvery Nisargadhama – an island formed by river Cauvery and is used as a picnic spot island, with lush foliage of thick bamboo groves.

Lunch at Kushalnagar and proceed to visit Bhagamandala – Talacauvery known as Dakshin Kashi is the birthplace of river Cauvery at the foot of the breathtaking Brahmagiri Hills in Coorg. The river flows down inconspicuously as ‘Guptagamini’ from here before re-emerging a small distance downwards at Nagateerta.

Evening visit to Raja Seat– an enchanting picnic spot with a swathing in the nature’s lap.(If time permits)

Back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 : Coorg – Madikeri 

After Morning breakfast, proceed to visit Omkareshwara Temple – Built in 1820 and featuring a blend of red-tile roofed Kerala architecture and Islamic-style domes. Also just have a glance at Madikeri Fort – The 19th century Madikeri fort with its stone ramparts now houses the prison.

Later visit Abbey falls which is tucked away between private coffee and spice estate.

Have lunch on the way and later visit the Spice Plantation Tour.

Back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05 : Madikeri – Mangalore | Boarding train for Mumbai:

Morning breakfast and checkout from hotel.

Drive to Mangalore Railway station to board the train for home.

Overnight in train.

( Meal : Only Breakfast )

Day 06 : Reach Mumbai

Reach Mumbai in the morning to disperse with a promise to meet again and happy memories.

    • Extra Polythene Bags (To segregate used/ unused garments, wet/ dry clothing)
