After an overnight train journey from Mumbai, we arrive in Hubballi Junction (UBL) at approximately 10:45 AM.

Our connecting transport will be waiting at Hubballi to take us onwards to the adventure capital of Karnataka — Dandeli 🚐🌿

Upon arrival, we’ll check in at our stay and take some time to settle in.

A delicious lunch awaits, followed by some time to freshen up and get ready for the afternoon’s biggest adventure.

🌊 Kali River — Let the Adventure Begin!

Get ready for an adrenaline-packed session of watersports on the mighty Kali River!

After the watersports, it’s time to slow things down with some well-deserved pool time 🏊‍♂️☀️

🌅 Sunset • Music • Raindance

As the day winds down, gather together to witness a beautiful Dandeli sunset.

Back at the stay, turn up the music and get ready for an unforgettable Raindance Night — because some of the best travel memories are made when you simply let go and enjoy the moment! 🌧️🎵💃

Yana Caves • Gokarna • Om Beach • Kudle Beach

🌅 Early Morning — Yana Caves

Rise early — today takes us from the mysterious rock formations of Yana to the stunning beaches of Gokarna! 🌄

An early wake-up call gets the day started. After a hearty breakfast, we depart for the fascinating Yana Caves.

🚐 Next Stop — Gokarna

After exploring Yana, we continue our journey towards the beautiful coastal town of Gokarna.

We’ll reach Gokarna by afternoon and check in at our hotel, giving everyone some time to relax and freshen up.

If time permits, we’ll also visit the revered Mahabaleshwar Temple 🛕

🌊 Evening by the Arabian Sea

As the sun begins to dip, Our first stop will be the iconic Om Beach, famous for its naturally formed shape and beautiful coastal views. 🌅

Later at night, we head to Kudle Beach — perfect for a relaxed beachside evening, conversations, laughter, and soaking in the coastal vibes under the night sky. 🌊✨

🌙 Night in Gokarna

Post dinner, we return to our stay for a well-earned night’s rest.

⚠️ Important Note

Yana Caves are currently undergoing construction/renovation work by the History Department. Entry will be permitted only after the site officially reopens to visitors, which is expected by September.

The visit will therefore be subject to the official opening and access permissions at the time of the trip.

🛕 Morning — Murudeshwar Temple

We’ll start the day bright and early with a visit to the magnificent Murudeshwar Temple.

Take in the breathtaking temple architecture, soak in the spiritual atmosphere, and admire the spectacular coastal setting before enjoying a relaxed breakfast 🙏🌊

🚤 Honnavar Backwaters — Into Serenity

Next, we make our way towards Honnavar for a peaceful boating experience through the beautiful Honnavar Backwaters.

🌱 Eco Beach & Mangroves

Our exploration continues with a visit to Eco Beach and the surrounding mangroves.

🍽️ Lunch & One Last Beach Stop

After a delightful lunch, we’ll unwind at the picturesque Kumta Beach, if time permits.

🚆 The Journey Home

After an incredible few days filled with adventure, beaches, temples, backwaters, music, laughter, and unforgettable memories, it’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful Konkan coast.

What began with an exciting train journey from Mumbai has taken us through Dandeli’s wild waters, Yana’s mysterious landscapes, Gokarna’s beaches, Murudeshwar’s spiritual charm, and Honnavar’s serene backwaters.

But the journey was never just about the destinations. It was about the people we met, the laughter we shared, the adventures we experienced, the late-night conversations, the unexpected moments, and the memories we created together ❤️
