BRIEF ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Almaty

    • Arrive in Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan.
    • Check in to your hotel and rest after your journey.

Day 2: Issyk Lake Tour

    • Start your day early and head to Issyk Lake.
    • The lake is located in the Ile-Alatau National Park* and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
    • Enjoy a leisurely walk around the lake, take photos, and soak in the natural beauty.
    • Return to Almaty in the evening.

Day 3: Shymbulak Ski Resort + Shopping at the Bazaar

    • Visit the Shymbulak Ski Resort, which is a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
    • Take the cable car to the top for breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks.
    • Afterward, explore the local culture by visiting the Green Bazaar (Zelyony Bazaar).
    • Shop for souvenirs, spices, and traditional Kazakh products.

Day 4: Charyn Canyon + Kolsai Lake

    • Set out on an unforgettable day trip to the breathtaking Charyn Canyon, often called the “Grand Canyon of Central Asia.”
    • Take in the awe-inspiring beauty of its dramatic rock formations, sculpted by nature over countless years, and enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch surrounded by stunning views.

    • Next, visit the enchanting Kolsai Lakes, a trio of pristine alpine lakes nestled in lush valleys.

    • Stroll along scenic trails around the lakes, immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere and the crisp mountain air.

Day 5: Almaty City Tour + Gorky Park

    • Explore Almaty’s city highlights:

      • Republic Square: Admire the Independence Monument and the Presidential Palace.

      • Panfilov Park: Visit the colorful Zenkov Cathedral and the Eternal Flame memorial.

Day 6: Kok-Tobe Hill + Shopping at Malls
