BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1: Delhi to Narkanda / Rampur via Shimla| Overnight Journey
The group will gather at the designated pick-up point by 10:00 PM (tentative). You’ll meet the team captains, and a brief orientation will be held. Following that, we’ll begin our overnight journey to Narkanda.
Note: The pick-up location is expected to be Majnu Ka Tila (tentative).
Day 2: Exploring Narkanda’s nearby places
We will reach Narkanda around noon. will check in at the hotel and freshen up. after that, we will visit Tanni Juber lake and will Explore the Apple Orchards farm. Overnight stay in Narkanda.
Day 3: Narkanda / Rampur to kalpa via chtikul & sangla
After breakfast, we will make our way to Kalpa, a destination renowned for its breathtaking landscapes. En route, we will stop at the charming town of Reckong Peo, a perfect spot for a brief break. If the weather is clear, you may be treated to stunning views of the majestic Kinner Kailash Peak.
If time allows, we will also visit the historic Kamru Fort on the way to Kalpa. Upon arrival in Kalpa, after some time to relax, we’ll explore the ancient 3000-year-old Kalpa Monastery and the famous Suicide Point, offering spectacular views of the Kailash mountain range.
After checking in, dinner will be served, and we’ll enjoy an overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day Highlights: Reckong Peo, Kamru Fort, Kalpa Monastery.
Day 4: Kalpa to Nako (100 Kms)
After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey towards Nako, a quaint village nestled in the trans-Himalayan ranges. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at Khab, where the Sutlej and Spiti rivers meet.
Upon reaching Nako, we’ll explore the tranquil Nako Lake and visit the revered Nako Monastery. Afterward, we’ll return to our accommodations for dinner and an overnight stay in Nako.
Please note: Due to the high altitude, remote location, and cold temperatures, shared washrooms will be available, along with one bucket of hot water. We kindly ask travelers to be prepared accordingly.
Highlights of the Day: Khab, Nako Lake, Nako Monastery
Day 5: Nako to Kaza (110 Kms)
After breakfast, we will proceed to Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti. As we journey toward Kaza, which serves as a key link between districts, we’ll pass by several ancient monasteries. Our first stop will be the thousand-year-old Tabo Monastery, followed by a visit to Dhankar Monastery and the historic Dhankar Fort.
We aim to arrive in Kaza by late afternoon, where we’ll check into our designated accommodations. The remainder of the day is free for relaxation, allowing travelers to explore the charming town at their own pace.
Dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 6: Spiti Sightseeing Day (Komic, Hikkim, Langza, Key, Chicham)
After breakfast, we’ll set off to explore Key Monastery, also known as Key Gompa, followed by a visit to Chicham Bridge, the highest bridge in Asia.
Later, we’ll head to Hikkim, home to the highest post office in the world. Our journey continues to Komic, one of the highest motorable villages in the world.
Next, we’ll visit Langza, known as the “land of fossils,” and admire the grand Buddha statue that overlooks the village from its hilltop.
We’ll then return to Kaza for dinner and an overnight stay.
Highlights of the Day: Key Monastery, Chicham Bridge, Hikkim, Komic Village, Langza.
Day 7: Kaza to Kalpa (200 Kms)
After breakfast, we’ll begin our return journey to Kalpa. If time allows, we’ll stop by Lingti Falls, a stunning frozen waterfall. We expect to reach Kalpa by evening, where we’ll enjoy dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: Kalpa to Delhi via shimla
After breakfast, we’ll continue our return journey to Delhi. Along the way, we’ll stop for photos at the famous Rock Tunnel, also known as the Gateway to Kinnaur. Once we reach Shimla we will take our sweet time to explore Shimla and then we will start our journey to Delhi
The highlight of the Day: Rock Tunnel.
Day 9: Delhi Arrival | Tour Ends
We’ll arrive in Delhi early in the morning, and the group will part ways with cherished memories.
End of Winter Spiti Road Trip.
