Itinerary
- The excitement kicks in as we board our train from Mumbai, setting off on a spiritual adventure with like-minded travelers.
- A chance to relax, bond, and let the anticipation build as we move closer to the divine lands of Uttarakhand.
Overnight Journey
- We reach Haridwar in the morning around 8 AM, greeted by the crisp mountain air and the sacred Ganges flowing through this ancient city.
- After freshening up and having breakfast, we set out to experience the divine energy of Haridwar.
- A visit to Har Ki Pauri, where the holy river washes away all sins, and a chance to witness the morning prayers at the ghats.
- We begin our scenic drive towards Sersi, passing through Rishikesh, the yoga capital, and the sacred confluence of Devprayag, where the Ganga is born.
- After a long yet picturesque journey, we settle in Sersi, ready for the Kedarnath adventure ahead.
- Today, we take the path walked by thousands of devotees for centuries—the trek to Kedarnath from Gaurikund. The trail is a mix of stunning landscapes, gushing waterfalls, and sheer devotion.
- As we set foot in Kedarnath, the sight of the centuries-old temple standing tall against the snow-clad peaks sends chills down the spine.
- We offer prayers, soak in the divine energy, and spend the night in the lap of the mountains, feeling the presence of Lord Shiva all around.
- Waking up in Kedarnath feels surreal—the air is crisp, the morning prayers echo through the valley, and a sense of peace washes over us.
- After a final darshan, we trek back to Sersi, retracing our steps through the breathtaking landscape.
- The evening is for unwinding—sharing stories, reliving moments, and preparing for our journey to the next divine destination
- The road to Badrinath is a visual treat—towering cliffs, flowing rivers, and picturesque villages dot the route.
- We stop at Joshimath, an ancient town and home to Shankaracharya Math, before witnessing the stunning Vishnuprayag, where two mighty rivers embrace.
- As we reach Badrinath, the sight of the temple against the backdrop of the Neelkanth Peak is nothing short of magical.
- The day starts with an early darshan at Badrinath Temple, an experience that fills the heart with peace and gratitude.
- A dip in the Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring, is believed to cleanse the soul before entering the temple.
- Next, we visit Mana Village, India’s last village near the Tibet border, where mythology and history come alive.
- Walk through Vyas Gufa, where Maharishi Ved Vyas composed the Mahabharata, and cross the legendary Bheem Pul, a bridge said to be built by Bhima himself.
- As the sun sets, we begin our overnight drive to Rishikesh, carrying with us the spiritual energy of these sacred lands.
- We arrive in Rishikesh, a town that blends spirituality with adventure, nestled along the banks of the Ganges.
- Take a peaceful stroll on Laxman Jhula & Ram Jhula, historic bridges that whisper tales of the Ramayana.
- Explore the Beatles Ashram, where music met meditation in the ‘60s, creating a cultural revolution.
- The day ends with the enchanting Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, a moment of pure bliss as the flames dance to the rhythm of prayers.
- We unwind for the night, reflecting on the divine journey we’ve been a part of.
- After a week of unforgettable experiences, it’s time to say goodbye to the Himalayas.
- We board our train in the afternoon, taking with us stories, blessings, and a newfound sense of peace.
- We reach Mumbai, back to the daily grind but forever changed by this journey.

This itinerary is a spiritually enriching yet physically demanding journey. The trip involves long travel hours, high-altitude locations, and a moderate trek to Kedarnath, which can be challenging for beginners.
To fully enjoy this experience, we highly recommend:
- Basic fitness preparation – Start light workouts, walking, or jogging a few weeks before the trip.
- Acclimatization awareness – Stay hydrated and take it slow in high-altitude areas.
- Mental readiness – Be prepared for long travel durations and occasional unpredictable weather.
- Flexible Itinerary – HikerWolf reserves the right to modify the itinerary based on weather conditions, roadblocks, or unforeseen circumstances to ensure a safe and smooth journey for all participants.
IRCTC Rules
- HikerWolf provides its train tickets through the IRCTC app.
- The tickets confirmation depends on the number of days left until the trip.
- While it’s important to understand that there is no 100% confirmation guarantee for waitlisted and RAC tickets on every occasion, please be aware that HikerWolf does not have control over the confirmation process for tickets.
- It’s important to acknowledge that there’s always a possibility of receiving an RAC (half seat) or a waitlisted ticket instead of a confirmed seat. Please note that HikerWolf is not accountable for unconfirmed tickets, as IRCTC is a government entity over which we have no control.
- If the train is canceled or its route is changed for any reason, HikerWolf will not assume responsibility, and alternative solutions will be offered at an additional cost.
- To enhance your chances of securing a full seat on the train, it’s highly advisable to book your trip well in advance, preferably at least 20 days prior to your travel date.
- HikerWolf cannot be held responsible for changes in your travel plans, and therefore, if you choose not to take the same train we originally booked for your return journey, there will be no refundschange for ticket dates or prices.
