BRIEF ITINERARY

Day 1 : Mumbai to Haridwar

You’ll be boarding the BDTS HW EXP (19019) from Bandra Terminus at 00:20 am. It will make stops at Surat at 04:28 and Vadodara at 06:30 only for someone has opted for train tickets from Mumbai, Surat, and Vadodara Overnight Journey in Train

Meals: No Meals on train

NOTE: Be sure to reach Bandra station at 23:30PM

Day 2: Reach Haridwar Early Morning:

We reach Haridwar Railway Station around 7:45 am. After meeting our fellow tour mates, we check in to our hotel (early check-in is subject to availability), and the day is kept for relaxation. Those who want to explore Haridwar can do it on own cost. Overnight stay at Haridwar

Day 3: Departure from Haridwar to Sonprayag/Guptkashi/ Sirsi:

Post breakfast, we check-out from hotel and commence our journey towards Sonprayag / Guptkashi/ Sirsi to reach in the evening. The evening time is kept for relaxation. Overnight stay at Sonprayag / Guptkashi/ Sirsi

Day 4: Trek toward Kedarnath 

This early morning next in line is the most awaited Kedarnath Ji & Kedar Temple. We start our 19kms long Kedarnath trek which gives you a chance to see a landscape never seen before, the on-foot trek experience is an unmatched and must-do activity. We attend the soulful Aarti in the Evening, Later Evening is to explore the beauty of Kedarnath Temple and leisure time for shopping Overnight stay at Kedarnath at basic homestay

Day 5: Kedarnath to Guptkashi / Sonprayag / Sersi

We wake up at 2AM in the morning to seek the blessings of Kedarnath Ji for Abhishek of the Jyotrling (Optional). We start early to visit them in the brisk golden sunrise; enjoy the serenity and the sacredness of the temple. Post breakfast we Trek down to Gaurikund and drive to Sonprayag / Guptkashi. Dinner and Overnight stay at Guptkashi / Sersi/ Sonprayag

 Day 6: Guptkashi to Chopta (Tungnath)

Early Morning after breakfast we head towards Chopta, popularly known as Mini Switzerland and those who are not tired will start our trek towards Tungnath (Optional) also cover Chandrashila peak to observe the beautiful view. This is an optional trek, people can choose to relax at the campsite or at the base village of the Tunganath trek. Trekkers will reach back to the base village by late evening, overnight
in Chopta

 Day 7: Drive to Rishikesh

In the morning Post breakfast, we drive to Rishikesh. In Between we visit the Confluence of two rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi which is known as Devprayag and later we visit one more Confluence of two rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini which is known as Rudraprayag.

If time permits, we will attend the Evening Ganga Arti at Triveni Ghat and local Sightseeing of Rishikesh like Ram Jhula or Lakshman Jhula with local auto which will be at own expense. Evening time is leisure for shopping. Overnight at Rishikesh.

Day 8: River Rafting | Departure to Haridwar | Return Journey to Mumbai

At 6 AM, we’ll kick off our day with thrilling river rafting in Rishikesh. After an exhilarating morning, we’ll enjoy breakfast and than check out from the hotel and depart for Haridwar Railway Station to catch our train back to Mumbai HW BDTS EXP (19020) Scheduled at 13:00 hrs.

Day 9: Mumbai Arrival

Train Journey We reach Mumbai back at 22:55 Hours with lots of memories to cherish

Note: The itinerary can be changed by HikerWolf without any prior notice depending upon the weather conditions. 

IRCTC Rules:

    • HikerWolf provides its train tickets through the IRCTC app.
    • The tickets confirmation depends on the number of days left until the trip.
    • While it’s important to understand that there is no 100% confirmation guarantee for waitlisted and RAC tickets on every occasion, please be aware that HikerWolf does not have control over the confirmation process for tickets.
    • It’s important to acknowledge that there’s always a possibility of receiving an RAC (half seat) or a waitlisted ticket instead of a confirmed seat. Please note that HikerWolf is not accountable for unconfirmed tickets, as IRCTC is a government entity over which we have no control.
    • If the train is canceled or its route is changed for any reason, HikerWolf will not assume responsibility, and alternative solutions will be offered at an additional cost.
    • To enhance your chances of securing a full seat on the train, it’s highly advisable to book your trip well in advance, preferably at least 20 days prior to your travel date.
    • HikerWolf cannot be held responsible for changes in your travel plans, and therefore, if you choose not to take the same train we originally booked for your return journey, there will be no refunds\change for ticket dates or prices.
