Itinerary
You’ll be boarding the Golden Temple train (12903) from Bandra terminus at 18:30. It will make stops at Surat at 21:57 and Vadodara at 23:20 Only for someone has opted for train tickets from Mumbai, Surat, and Vadodara.
The group will assemble at Ambala by 07:00 PM (tentative). Travelers arriving by flight are advised to reach Chandigarh by 08:00 PM.
Meet your Tour Managers and fellow travelers before beginning your overnight journey towards Rampur.

En route, we’ll take short breaks to freshen up before continuing our journey.
Upon arrival in Rampur around 10:00 AM, check into the hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the nearby local market and soak in the town’s charm.

After breakfast, proceed towards Kalpa, known for its breathtaking Himalayan views.
En route, halt at Reckong Peo for a quick break. If weather permits, enjoy stunning views of the majestic Kinner Kailash Range.
Optionally, visit the historic Kamru Fort before reaching Kalpa. After some relaxation, explore the ancient Kalpa Monastery and the famous Suicide Point for panoramic mountain views.

After breakfast, continue towards Nako, a serene village in the Trans-Himalayan region.
Stop at Khab Sangam, where the Sutlej and Spiti rivers meet. Upon reaching Nako, explore the peaceful Nako Lake and visit the Nako Monastery.
Later, proceed to your stay (Tabo region) for dinner and overnight rest.
Important Note: Due to high altitude and extreme weather, accommodations may have shared washrooms and limited hot water (bucket system).

After breakfast, we will proceed to Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti. As we journey toward Kaza, which serves as a key link between districts, we’ll pass by several ancient monasteries. Our first stop will be the thousand-year-old Tabo Monastery, followed by a visit to Dhankar Monastery and the historic Dhankar Fort.
We aim to arrive in Kaza by late afternoon, where we’ll check into our designated accommodations. The remainder of the day is free for relaxation, allowing travelers to explore the charming town at their own pace.
Dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay in Kaza.
After breakfast, we’ll set off to explore Key Monastery, also known as Key Gompa, followed by a visit to Chicham Bridge, the highest bridge in Asia.
Later, we’ll head to Hikkim, home to the highest post office in the world. Our journey continues to Komic, one of the highest motorable villages in the world.
Next, we’ll visit Langza, known as the “land of fossils,” and admire the grand Buddha statue that overlooks the village from its hilltop.
We’ll then return to Kaza for dinner and an overnight stay.
Highlights of the Day: Key Monastery, Chicham Bridge, Hikkim, Komic Village, Langza.
After breakfast, we’ll begin our return journey to Kalpa. If time allows, we’ll stop by Lingti Falls, a stunning frozen waterfall. We expect to reach Kalpa by evening, where we’ll enjoy dinner and stay overnight.
Highlight of the Day: Lingti Falls
After breakfast, begin your return journey towards Ambala/Delhi via Shimla.
En route, stop at the famous Rock Tunnel (Gateway to Kinnaur) for photos. Continue your journey overnight towards Ambala.

Arrive at Ambala Cantt Railway Station and board the Paschim Express (12926) at 13:00 hrs.

- While you have selected multiple sharing rooms, please note that our priority at Hikerwolf is to accommodate you with individuals of the same gender. In the event that the male-female ratio doesn’t align, room assignments will be made accordingly.
- Trip Leaders will only accompany you if there are people more than the minimum batch size otherwise, the trip will be handled virtually.
- HikerWolf offers the flexibility to adjust room arrangements based on availability,ensuring a comfortable and accommodating experience for your trip, whether it’s dual or triple occupancy .
- Due to the high altitude, remote location, and low temperatures, only common washrooms will be available at this campsite, along with one bucket of hot water per person. Travelers are requested to be prepared accordingly. (Applicable only during extreme winter months.)
- Any additional costs incurred for the 4×4 vehicle. In case normal vehicles cannot operate due to fresh snow or because of road closure due to snow residue, guests will have to directly pay for a 4WD vehicle on-site. Negotiations on the price can be discussed with the 4WD vehicle owner by the guest
- Any expenses arising due to natural calamities such as landslides, roadblocks, etc. (to be borne directly by the customer on the spot).
IRCTC Rules
- HikerWolf provides its train tickets through the IRCTC app.
- The tickets confirmation depends on the number of days left until the trip.
- While it’s important to understand that there is no 100% confirmation guarantee for waitlisted and RAC tickets on every occasion, please be aware that HikerWolf does not have control over the confirmation process for tickets.
- It’s important to acknowledge that there’s always a possibility of receiving an RAC (half seat) or a waitlisted ticket instead of a confirmed seat. Please note that HikerWolf is not accountable for unconfirmed tickets, as IRCTC is a government entity over which we have no control.
- If the train is canceled or its route is changed for any reason, HikerWolf will not assume responsibility, and alternative solutions will be offered at an additional cost.
- To enhance your chances of securing a full seat on the train, it’s highly advisable to book your trip well in advance, preferably at least 20 days prior to your travel date.
- HikerWolf cannot be held responsible for changes in your travel plans, and therefore, if you choose not to take the same train we originally booked for your return journey, there will be no refundschange for ticket dates or prices.
