Heavenly Himachal Bir-Dharmshala-Dalhousie-Amritsar

Arrive at Ambala cant station and HikerWolf’s local representative will greet you. Spend some time exploring Rani ka Talab, Karnal Lake and near by places on your own. At around 7 PM start our trip to Bir. Have an overnight journey on a pushback bus.

Note: those who have opted for train tickets will reach Ambala at around 2:40 PM via Paschim EXPRESS (12925)

We reach Bir in the morning. Check into our hotels and freshen up to prepare for the most exciting adventure. Have an adrenaline-filled start to the day with one of the best paragliding in the world. Bir Billing has hosted the world’s first world cup of paragliding. Get breathtaking aerial views of mountains and valleys as you sail across the sky. 

After a life-changing experience, have lunch at a local cafe. Hereafter we visit the Nyingyang Monastery which is a very peaceful place. We spend the evening in leisure with some sightseeing in Bir. Later on if time permits we explore some Tibetan souvenirs at the Bir Market. 

Dinner and overnight stay in Bir.

We start our day early. After breakfast, we check out from the hotel and visit the Dalai Lama Temple. From here we head towards Dharamshala.

We first visit the HPCA stadium. Then later we visit the Bhagsu Nag Waterfall. Next, we visit St John In the wilderness Beautiful old church covered with All greenery After the visit, we have lunch at a local restaurant. if time permits, we will visit Sky Ropeway. In the evening, we tour the famous Mcleodganj market. You can buy singing bowls, Buddha statues, Tibetan handicrafts, and jewellery among many items here. We check into our hotels and have dinner. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

After breakfast, we head to our next destination Khajjiar which is also known as “mini Switzerland”. The hills are of different hues of green and the beauty of the Khajjiar lake is such that you won’t believe you are in India! en route you will visit Beeji’s Park then you can visit the aristocratic 9-hole golf course and even try adventure activities like horse-riding, paragliding, and zorbing at your own cost. 

After having a spectacular time we have lunch at a local restaurant. From here we proceed towards Dalhousie. On arrival, we check into our hotel and relax for the rest of the time. Dinner and overnight stay in Dalhousie.

Triple Room Sharing

We check out from the hotel early in the morning after having breakfast. Journey to Amritsar where we check in to a hotel near the Golden Temple. We visit the larger-than-life Harmandir Sahib aka Golden temple and feel humbled in its presence. This will be followed by a visit to the Wagah Border closing ceremony that happens in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Amritsar. 

Room Sharing: Triple

Have breakfast and check out from the hotel. If time permits we visit the Jallianwala Bagh. We visit the Ram Teerath Valmiki Temple where you see the history of Ramayana unfold. This space with multiple temples also has a hut which is believed to be the birthplace of Luv and Kush. 

We have lunch en route and reach Amritsar airport/station. Those who have opted for train tickets will board Golden Temple EXP (12904) at around 06:55 PM Our trip ends here.
